SY Tree of Life
Tree of Life has completed two successful circumnavigations in her lifetime, sailing the world to exotic locations such as New Zealand and French Polynesia. She was built in 1991 at Covey Island Boatworks in Nova Scotia Canada, designed by the renowned naval architect Ted Brewer. She was fit out with all of the modern luxuries below deck such as air conditioning and on board refrigeration, while maintaining her traditional schooner aesthetic on deck, giving her guests the best of both an old and new world sailing experience.
Today, Tree of Life is available for public ticketed day sails out of Newport, Rhode Island and overnight charters throughout New England. She can accommodate six guests in three luxurious staterooms below deck. The aft stateroom boasts a king sized bed with a private ensuite shower and head. The two mid ship staterooms have french doubles, perfect for couples or two children in each, with their own private new ensuite showers and heads installed in 2024. The galley is equipped with modern refrigeration and freezer conveniences, along with a propane range and oven. Air conditioning is available below decks in each stateroom and common areas.
